USA Today releases its rankings of the Top 10 New Jersey beaches

A recent study highlighted by The Washington Post reveals that coastal flooding in North Carolina communities occurs far more often than federal tide gauges indicate, with researchers documenting up to 128 flood days in a single year.

The American Coastal Coalition, representing America’s coastal communities, sent a letter to the House and Senate appropriations committees urging Congress to allocate at least $200 million in the FY26 budget for the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to safeguard our beaches, waterways and coastal communities from devastating hurricanes and storms.
