ACC Opposes Specific Budget Cuts to Programs Supporting Coastal Communities:

ACC opposes cuts to federal agencies involved in producing science and research critical to the health America's beaches and coastal ecosystems, including funding for NOAA and The Coastal Zone Management program.
ACC opposes cuts to disaster relief agencies and programs, such as FEMA and it's Building Resilient Infrastructures and Communities (BRIC) program, which our members rely on for pre- and post-disaster funding to respond to hurricanes and flooding.

The ACC proposes and supports policies that benefit coastal economies, environments, and cultures. We also track and monitor all coastal-related bills that impact coastal regions.
