Coastal flooding impacts public safety, reduces economic activity and damages public and private assets.

Our legislative focus:

1. Work with Congress to reauthorize the National Flood Insurance Program with common-sense provisions safeguarding policyholders from unjust rate hikes

2. Work with municipalities to reduce flood risk through forums, workshops and webinars to disseminate best management practices and strategic relocation of critical facilities

3. Increase municipal awareness of the Community Rating System

4. Secure funding to address local flood hazards by raising homes, businesses and essential facilities
