The American Coastal Coalition is pleased to welcome Worcester County, Maryland as the newest member of the American Coastal Coalition and our second county member!
With 774 miles of coastline along the Atlantic Ocean and Maryland Coastal Bays, Worcester County encompasses residential waterfront, marshland, the Assateague Island National Seashore, and the beaches, boardwalk, and Town of Ocean City. The County works to protect and bolster its diverse coast of back bays, creeks, inlets, and beachfront, while promoting community wellbeing and resilience.
We are excited to expand our coalition’s collective voice and work with Worcester County to promote their needs at the federal level.
